  3. Extraction Tool: Any standard ZIP extraction utility.

  4. Stable Power Connection: Ensure the TV power cable is securely connected to a reliable outlet. A power interruption during the flashing process will corrupt the system board.

Step-by-Step Installation Procedure

Caution: Follow each step in order. Removing power or pulling the USB drive mid-update can permanently disable the system mainboard.

Step 1: Format the USB Drive

  1. Insert your USB drive into a computer.

  2. Right-click the drive, select Format, set the File System to FAT32, and confirm.

Step 2: Extract and Copy the Firmware File



  • Open XTREME9602_GTV_SW6H_Xtreme_NF.zip on your computer.

  • Extract the package file named:

  • Copy this file directly to the root folder of your USB drive (outside any subfolders). Refer to the image below;



  • Do not alter or rename the .pkg file. Refer to the image above;

Step 3: Run the Force Update

Since a frozen or non-responsive TV prevents access to the standard Settings menu, use the manual bootloader sequence:

  1. Unplug the TV power cable from the wall.

  2. Plug the USB drive into the TV's USB 2.0 port (usually marked in black or white; avoid blue USB 3.0 ports).

  3. Press the power button while reconnecting, the AC power plug to the wall socket(Do not release power button).

  4. Keep pressing the power button on the TV and observe the front standby LED:

    • The red indicator light will start blinking, or a screen message reading "LOADING DATA... 1%" will appear.

    • Shortly after, the screen will transition to "UPGRADING SOFTWARE PLEASE DO NOT TURN OFF" with a progress bar.

Step 4: Complete the System Flash

  • The entire process takes approximately 5 to 15 minutes.

  • Do not touch the TV remote, power cord, or USB drive while the bar fills.

  • Once finished, the television will reboot automatically into the initial Google TV setup menu. You can then safely remove the USB drive.
