Step-by-Step USB Flash Procedure


⚠️ Read every step through once before touching the TV. Interrupting this process mid-write will corrupt the system permanently.

1.Format the USB Drive to FAT32:Required.

Insert the USB drive into a PC. Right-click the drive, choose Format, and explicitly select FAT32. The TV bootloader cannot read exFAT or NTFS partitions during a forced hardware boot.

2.Copy Firmware to Drive Root:Exact placement.

Copy the .pkg file directly into the main directory of the USB drive. Do not place it inside subfolders and do not rename the file, or the low-level boot loader will skip it.

3.Execute the Forced Flash sequence:Manual hardware trigger.

  1. Unplug the TV's power cable from the wall outlet.

  2. Insert the USB drive into the TV's USB 2.0 port (usually black or white, avoid the blue USB 3.0 port).

  3. Press and hold the physical Power Button on the TV chassis itself (located under the lower frame or rear panel — do not use the remote control).

  2. Keep holding the physical button until the screen shows "Upgrading" or "Software Updating", then let go immediately.

4.Wait for Flashing and Auto-Reboot:5-15 minutes.

Leave the unit alone while the progress bar runs. Do not turn off the power or pull the USB drive. Once finished, the system will restart into the Google TV initial setup screen automatically.
