Step-by-Step USB Force Flashing Guide

⚠️ WARNING: Proceed with care. Do not remove power or pull out the USB drive during the upgrade process. Intercepting the software installation mid-write will corrupt the SPI flash memory, resulting in a dead mainboard.

 

1.Format the USB Flash Drive to FAT32:

1. Insert your USB flash drive into your PC.

2. Open This PC, right-click the drive, and select Format.

3. Under File System, choose FAT32. Leave allocation unit size to default.

4. Click Start to format.

Note: The TV bootloader cannot read NTFS, exFAT, or GPT partition tables during a cold force-update.

2. Inside, locate the file named upgrade_image_no_tvcertificate.pkg.

3. Copy this .pkg file directly to the root directory of your FAT32 USB drive.
