If your Skyworth 70" Smart TV (70SUC9400) is stuck on the boot logo, dropping audio, or throwing Netflix errors like ui-800-3(307006), flushing fresh firmware via USB is usually the only way to recover it.

I ran this exact force update procedure on a unit in the same series that crashed after an over-the-air (OTA) update. Here is what you need to know, the file you need, and how to unbrick your panel safely.

馃洃 CRITICAL REGION WARNING

This software file is ONLY for Skyworth 70SUC9400 models distributed in QATAR.

Flashing firmware from the wrong region can corrupt your mainboard, disable tuner functions, or permanently brick the TV. Read all directions carefully before inserting your drive.

What This Update Fixes

Flashing this build replaces corrupted system files and refreshes the low-level boot configuration.

Known IssueStatus After USB Update
Stuck on Logo / Boot LoopFixed — Bypasses corrupted system files on launch
Logo Only After OTA UpdateFixed — Restores base partition configuration
Android Recovery Error ScreenFixed — Overwrites corrupted recovery image
No Display / Blank ScreenFixed — Resets mainboard video initialization
No Sound / Intermittent AudioFixed — Reloads audio decoder drivers
Green Tint on YouTube / StreamingFixed — Clears video buffer and hardware decode errors

Netflix Code ui-800-3(307006)Fixed — Re-authorizes DRM credentials
Netflix Code tvq-st-103 & tvq-st-106Fixed — Resolves app certification cache errors
YouTube Playback GlitchesFixed — Re-installs embedded playback framework

What You Need Before Starting

  1. USB Flash Drive: Minimum 8GB capacity. It must be formatted to FAT32. (The bootloader cannot read NTFS or exFAT drives during a cold start).

  2. Firmware File: Download MstarUpgrade_no_tvcertificatetvconfig_20251225.bin.

  3. Extraction Tool: WinRAR, 7-Zip, or native ZIP extractor.

  4. Uninterrupted Power: Do not attempt this during unstable power conditions. A power shutoff while writing the bootloader will corrupt the board memory.

1.Format the USB Drive:
  1. Insert your USB stick into a computer.

  2. Open This PC, right-click the flash drive, and click Format.

  3. Under File system, select FAT32.

  4. Click Start to clear the drive completely.

2.Extract and Transfer the File:
  1. Extract MstarUpgrade_no_tvcertificatetvconfig.zip.

  2. Locate MstarUpgrade_no_tvcertificatetvconfig_20251225.bin.

  3. Copy this .bin file directly to the root of your USB drive (meaning directly onto E:\ or F:\, not inside a folder).

  4. Do not rename the file. The TV's bootloader looks for this exact file string.

3.Execute the Forced Update Procedure:

Because the system is stuck in a loop and you can't reach the settings menu, you must trigger a forced bootloader read:

  1. Unplug the TV power cord from the wall socket.

  2. Plug your USB drive into the TV's USB 2.0 port (usually black or white, avoid the blue USB 3.0 port).

  3. Press and hold down the physical power button directly on the TV panel (not the remote).

  4. While holding the power button, plug the power cord back into the wall.

  5. Keep holding the power button for about 15 seconds until the status LED flashes red or you see "LOADING DATA... 1%" on the screen.

  6. As soon as the progress percentage bar appears, release the power button.

Finishing Up & Hard Reset

The installation takes 10 to 15 minutes.

⚠️ Do not touch the power cord, turn off the TV, or remove the USB drive while the progress bar is running.

Once complete, the TV will automatically reboot into the initial setup wizard. To ensure all legacy app caches and DRM errors are cleared, perform a manual factory reset right away:

  1. Press Home on the remote.

  2. Go to Settings > System > About.

  3. Select Reset and confirm.

Once the reset finishes, re-enter your network details and log into your streaming services. All video playback, audio output, and boot issues will be resolved.
