How to Fix Hang on Logo and Reflash the XTREME 32-inch MF-3200GO Google TV (Firmware Update Guide)

If your XTREME 32-inch MF-3200GO Google TV is stuck on the boot screen, crashing on streaming apps, or showing a plain green display, flashing the stock firmware directly via USB will clear out damaged system files and get the hardware back up and running.

⚠️ Serial Number Check & Region Restrictions

Before downloading or copying any files, check the sticker on the back of your television set. This firmware package is written strictly for specific mainboard revisions.

Supported Serial Numbers

Your TV's serial number must start with or match one of these four identifier strings:

  • 2650100M

  • 25C0263M

  • 25C0264M

  • 2570307M

This Job Number is usually found inside the mainboard if it is not available on the sticker found in the back cover. Since, XTREME is not usually change TV model software does. This information makes it very important!

Serial Number Warning: Installing this software on a serial number not listed above will cause mainboard incompatibility, leaving the screen permanently blank or unresponsive.

Regional Broadcast Compatibility

This software configuration is built for XTREME Philippines. If you install this software on a unit used outside the Philippines, the core operating system and streaming apps will still function normally, but you will not be able to receive local digital broadcast TV channels unless your country uses the exact same DTV transmission frequencies.

Target RegionPrimary CountryBroadcast Compatibility Note
Primary RegionPhilippinesFull compatibility (OS + Local DTV Channels)
Secondary RegionsSoutheast Asia / OtherOS works; local channels require matching tuner frequencies

Preparation: What You Need

  • USB Flash Drive: Minimum 8GB capacity. It must be formatted to FAT32 (the TV bootloader cannot read NTFS or exFAT drives during launch).

  • Firmware Zip File: 9216GTV14.0_ph.zip

  • Extractor Tool: Any ZIP utility to open the archive and extract upgrade_image.pkg.

  • Stable Power: Connect the TV directly to a reliable power source. A power drop during a firmware flash will permanently corrupt the system memory board.

Step-by-Step Reflashing Procedure

Caution: Read and follow these instructions carefully. Interrupting the flashing process or misplacing the firmware file can permanently ruin the mainboard.

Step 1: Format the USB Drive

  1. Insert the USB drive into your PC.

  2. Open File Explorer, right-click the USB drive, and select Format.

  3. Set the File System to FAT32 and click Start.

Step 2: Prepare the Installation File

  1. Extract 9216GTV14.0_ph.zip on your computer. Enter the password please refer to the image below for your reference;

  • Inside, locate the file named upgrade_image.pkg. Please refer to the image below;

  • Copy upgrade_image.pkg directly to the top-level directory (root) of your USB drive. Please refer to the image below;

  • Do not rename the file and do not place it inside any folder.

Step 3: Trigger the Forced Update

  • Unplug the TV's power cable from the wall outlet. Please see the image below for your reference;

  • Insert the USB flash drive into the TV's USB 2.0 port (typically labeled or indicated by a black or white connector port rather than a blue USB 3.0 port). Please refer to the image below for you reference;

  • Plug the TV power cable back into the wall outlet. Please see the image below for your reference;

  • Leave the controls alone. Watch the front panel LED indicator:

    • The red indicator light will start blinking rapidly, or the screen will display LOADING DATA... 1%.

    • After a short wait, the screen status will switch to UPGRADING SOFTWARE PLEASE DO NOT TURN OFF along with an installation progress bar.

Step 4: Complete the System Restore

  1. Allow the update to run to completion (this typically takes 5 to 15 minutes).

  2. Do not press any buttons on the remote, do not pull the power plug, and do not remove the USB drive while the progress bar is moving.

  3. Once the software overwrites the board memory successfully, the TV will automatically restart itself and load into the initial setup screen. You can then safely remove the USB drive.
